Aglaranna

A vast territory governed by the High Elves, Aglaranna is a land of ancient forests, wide plains, deep lakes, and grand mountains. Its people are mysterious with ways steeped in ancient wisdom. Fey creatures, and sylvan races, such as Tanuki and Ratatosk, share the forests and meadows, and far stranger beings lurk in the remote canyons and deserts. Like those who rule it, Aglaranna is enchanting and beautiful, but the quiet serenity masks a deeper truth. It is a land of raw power and brutal ferocity. Its dangers are hidden beneath a gentle veneer; they strike without warning and show no mercy.

Notable areas include:

Anthidion: Capitol of Aglaranna, and seat of the High Elven Palace, Pax Nuelle, which sits on an island in Lake Yaserriell.
Tamaska Citadel: The massive, desert fortress keeping vigilant guard over Aglaranna’s western territories and the threat of Skuggar.
Mos Et Sy Salt Flats: Utterly barren, with salt worth its weight in gold. Rare, heavy rains leave water standing on the flats, creating a mesmerizing world of heavenly reflections turning the land into a beautiful, death trap for the unwary.
Varthii Dunes: The shifting sands look like a dragon’s horde of gold under an endless, deep blue sky. During the day, the sand becomes so hot it will burn skin, at night it becomes cold enough to freeze you to the bone.
Dodsgap Fields: Treacherous terrain, the icy crevasses mark the landscape for miles on end. The gaps may be feet or inches across, and the deepest are over 100 feet down. Rushing, icy water often flows at the bottom. Snowfall causes new fissures to form and old ones to collapse. Only the most experienced attempt to cross them.
